you enjoy takin a look around..............
How
to Organise a Children's Pirate Party
A pirate party for kids is really easy but
needs a bit of planning so we've made it very easy with our page on
How to Organise a Pirate Party and made it even easier with
this Amazon Associates Shop where you can get all your Pirate Party
Supplies
First you'll need to think about
pirate themed invitations. You can make your own, buy them here, or very soon there will
be free pirate themed invitations to download from this site
Your venue is about to become a pirate ship filled with the fiercest
swashbuckling pirates, shipmates and princesses, it will ever see, and the
first thing to know is that the more you get into the game, the more the
children will play along, and the easier this pirate party is going to be.
The Pirate Themed party needs atmosphere so let us set sail on a great
pirate adventure….
Pirate Party Decorations
First name the pirate ship you are
sailing on – My own ship is the Green Bogie but yours will probably be
more tasteful. You’ll be needing pirate party decorations – pirate
balloons, pirate bunting, pirate flags and maybe a few pink balloons for
the princesses. If you really want to go overboard a treasure chest and
treasure maps will be useful. Now if you really want a good ambiance
pirate
music is really important – any old pop music simply will not do! Theme
music from Pirates of the Caribbean will create associations for everyone
who has seen the films, and sea shanties and sea songs are also great.
Pirate Party Costume
Now this is going to be a very
special voyage so you will have to think about what to wear, and pirate
costume isn’t expensive – a striped tee shirt, a painted on beard, an eye
patch, a cutlass, a pirate hat and some baggy trousers with a belt will do
fine. Princesses will want the most stunning princess costume they can
have it’s in the costume section. Oh and don’t let the adults get away
with it I they all have to dress up too and a pirate costume is remarkably
inexpensive.
Now by a remarkable coincidence, all that swag is available right here in
the Professor Paradox Pirate Shop, which is organised in categories so yer
pirate balloons are in the decorations section, and the pirate music is in
the music section.
Pirate Party Games
Next you’ll have to think about
games and this site being run by an old pirate, there is a section on
party games and you’ll find the link at the top of the page. And if you
have games you’ll need prizes which means spending a bit more treasure in
my shop but you won’t find it cheaper anywhere else and the shipping
charges are low and often free and the service is second to none! A little
something from the toys or pirate party bags section will do nicely. And
if there are young children, do have some pirate stickers so everyone who
is out will get a sticker so they feel like a winner!
Pirate Party Food
Next you’ll have to think about food
and it just so happens that there is a whole section on pirate food – see
the link at the top of the page, and you will of course have to think
about what they eat it off so you’ll be needing your pirate tableware too.
Swag Bags and Booty Bags
And when it’s all over and everyone
has had the most fantastic voyage on the best pirate ship that ever sailed
the seas, there’s the party bags…. Love em or hate them (most parents tend
to the latter) you can’t send the little varmits home without a bit of
treasure. There are three options with party bags: You buy ready filled
ones – make sure you have a couple of spares and don’t forget the
princesses. You can buy all the stuff and make your own – surprisingly
time consuming; or you can give them something else like a pirate book or
something from the pirate toys section. Personally I don’t like party bags
and I know for a fact that some mums confiscate the sweets and most of the
other tat in them, so I favour a good book or something else worthwhile –
a pirate activity book costs no more than a party bag and is much better
value. Of course you may beg to differ, so I sell party bags for those who
want them.
Ans if there's anything you can't
find, you can go directly to Amazon here:
And if you still
can't find what you want then try the Pirate Booty shop at Silly Jokes -
they have a great selection of pirate gear and a great service to match

So that’s about it. Remember your child isn’t young for very long and they
grow up faster than you could imagine. You’ll only get one chance to put
on the best pirate party ever. Bon voyage………
